  1. I thought Sea of Rust looked good but after reading your review I think I’ll pass.

Catching up on comments and re: your question on my blog- as to whether I read Star Gate by Andre Norton? I have read it and rather liked it. It’s an older style, obviously, but I grew up on Norton and enjoyed the Witch World books too.

  2. I enjoyed Sea of Rust more than you did and Animal Farm is one of those books I studied at school, so I haven’t gone back and read it since:). My grandson reads graphic novels and manga so I want to read more – though there seems to be quite a lot of heartbreak and violence in many of the stories. Hope the coming month is a good one:).

  3. I read Animal Farm on a lark, and I loved it and recommended it to my kids…Happily, they loved it, too.

I would like to read more graphic novels, but I honestly don’t know where to start. I know that I have read and loved Maus and the work of several women writers/illustrators.

  4. It looks like you’ve done a lot of reading in April! I haven’t read any of these books, not even Animal Farm.

  5. I remember reading Animal Farm when I was younger, I quite like George Orwell’s books. I think Sea of Rust still sounds interesting but I have to be in the mood for info dumping. I read your review of Kill Baxter and I think the series sounds good for my teen.
